Trooper lived on the streets of Elizabeth, NJ and had been hit by a car. For two years after that people fed him and tried to catch him but he refused to be caught. One day he fell asleep in a factory yard and someone locked him in there. Animal Control came and took him and were going to “zap” him because he was “aggressive”. An amazing rescue woman pulled him from the shelter, got him the medical treatment he needed, and then flew him all the way out to California to live with me.
He now lives in OB where he has acclimated to the local ways and is a full on hippie who likes to engage in civil disobedience by lying down whenever he wants something. He also likes to walk the beach and eat dead things.– Trooper’s Mom
